Iceland – a roadtrip along the South coast

Ice, wind, rain, snow, beaches, mountains, horses, seals and many more things made us fall in love with Iceland.
We rented a camper-van and traveled around the South of Iceland, although the snow did not stop us from visiting some of the West side too during the last days.
We had a planned route to reach the East side, but whenever the sun came out we had to stop to enjoy it. Most of the best things happen when there is no plan!
We really felt like searching for some snow, so the very last day we decided to drive towards the Westfjords. Even if we didn’t make it that far, we did reach areas with very beautiful sceneries, plus magnificent weather. Little did we know that a snowstorm was following behind us.
